Throws for sofa and bed

A Waro throw is the piece that turns a sofa into a cocoon. Soft, warm and designed to last, it is chosen according to three criteria: material, size and style. Fleece, faux fur or French wool: every throw has its own personality.

Which material should you choose for your throw?

The fleece throw is the everyday throw: light, very soft and easy to wash. In double layer, at around 720 g/m², it becomes a real winter blanket. The faux fur throw plays on volume: long pile, dense feel and up to 1,200 g/m² for a spectacular cocoon effect, with no animal material. The wool throw, made of 98% French wool, is breathable, thermoregulating and passed on from one winter to the next.

What size throw for a sofa or a bed?

The 150 × 200 cm size is the most versatile: it covers a two- to three-seater sofa or a person lying down from head to toe. To dress a double bed, choose a large 220 × 240 cm size or one of our bedspreads. The exact dimensions of each model are given on its product page.

Plain, mountain or animal: find your style

A plain throw goes with every interior and layers easily. To add character, go for a mountain pattern throw, with its cable cars, skiers and tartans, or an animal pattern throw: leopard, zebra or cow. Our signature models are gathered in The Iconics.

Choosing the colour of your throw

Tone on tone, the result is soothing; in contrast, the throw becomes the statement piece of the living room. Browse our throws by colour: beige, white, grey, blue, black, brown or orange.

A throw for every room

On the sofa, the throw folds over the armrest or drapes over the back for an instant cosy touch. In the bedroom, it sits at the foot of the bed to add a layer of warmth, alongside a fleece bedding set. And to complete the look, pair it with faux fur cushions or a hot-water bottle to match.

Caring for your throw

Always follow your throw's care label. As a rule: a delicate cycle at low temperature, a gentle detergent without fabric softener and air drying. For faux fur, run your hand in the direction of the pile once dry to restore its fluffiness. Between washes, simply airing it is enough.
