Country of production :At Plaids Cocooning, we strive to combine comfort and respect for the environment in every one of our products. That's why we're transparent about our production and transport choices. Currently, our fleece and faux fur plaids are made in China, more precisely in Changzhou. We work in partnership with weavers who must meet OEKO TEX criteria. This standard imposes strict norms on all technical production practices with respect for the environment and people. This decision, though difficult, is motivated by technical and financial constraints. We don't yet have the means to set up large-scale French production to meet our quality and price requirements.

However, we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of this delocalized production. That's why we've opted for liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping, a cleaner alternative to traditional fuel oil, considerably reducing CO2 emissions and other pollutants. What's more, we limit our shipments to twice a year, to further reduce our carbon footprint.

We are actively developing solutions to bring our production back to France as soon as possible. In the meantime, we do our utmost to offer you quality products, while respecting our beautiful planet.

Your single- or double-layer fleece blanket is designed for maximum comfort and warmth, while being easy to care for. Here are a few tips to preserve its softness and quality wash after wash:

Good news! Your fleece blanket can be machine-washed without any worries. Choose a delicate program at 30°C, with a small amount of detergent and, above all, without fabric softener. Fabric softener tends to weigh down fleece fibers and reduce their ability to retain heat.

After washing, you have two options for drying:

Air dry: Lay your plaid flat on a drying rack or terry towel, away from any source of direct heat. Let it dry quietly, and it will regain all its softness and fluffiness.

Tumble drying: If you're in a hurry, you can use the tumble dryer, but sparingly! A quick run at low temperature is all it takes to restore volume to the fibers. Be careful, however: excessive tumble-drying can amplify the phenomenon of static electricity.

Every order passes through the expert (and gentle) hands of Patrick, Patrice and Simon, our cardboard masters, Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm (excluding public holidays, don't push it). They do their utmost to ensure that your parcel arrives in less than 48 hours. If sometimes it takes a little longer, don't panic: your plaid is in very good hands. Our preparers are human (yes, really), so a little error can slip through. If this is the case, contact us: we'll always find a solution. And if the carrier decides that your neighbor - the one you don't like - deserves your plaid before you do... you should know that, unfortunately, we can't control the whole neighborhood. What we can promise you, however, is that we'll do everything in our power to ensure that your orders arrive quickly, smoothly and with the same softness as our plaids.
